Kim Munsterman - 2:20 Pacer

Kim was a state-qualifying cross country runner in high school.  She took a break from running for about eight years, returned to running in the spring of 2005, and decided that she would train for her first marathon in Kansas City, which she ran that fall.  Kim continued with marathons and in November 2007, qualified for the Boston Marathon while achieving a marathon PR of 3:40:33.  Kim is quite thrilled about being a Boston Qualifier though decided to wait until 2009 to participate in that event.  She has now completed 5 marathons and is preparing for her sixth in December 2008.

Dan Koehne - 3:00 Pacer

Dan has finished many races from 5K's to his 10th marathon this spring at the San Diego Rock and Roll Marathon. "Running has rewarded me with the opportunity to make many running friends as well as visit many cities for races as far away as Venice, Italy. When I felt that I was losing control of my health in my 40's, running gave me renewed enthusiasm. My goals changed from running faster to running further. Distance running challenges me to run smarter and the benefits, both physical and mental keep me excited. I look forward to helping make the KC Marathon become the great race the running community of Kansas City deserves.
