Awards Ceremony & After Party NEW

6-10 p.m.

The awards ceremony will begin approximately at 6 p.m. in conjunction with the After Party. The After Party is presented by the brand new KC Power & Light District and will feature live music, beverages and fun. Everyone is welcome.

All participants will receive a short-sleeve commemorative t-shirt, gift certificate to City Tavern or Jack Stack Barbecue ($25 Marathon, Half and Relay; $10 5K) and will be entered in drawings for other great prizes.

Special trophies will be given to the top male and female finishers in each of the following age groups:

17 & Under, 18-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39,

40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69,

70-74, 75-79, 80 & Over

Athletes are eligible to win awards in multiple categories (excluding the overall male and female winners of each event).

Marathon:

All finishers will receive a special Marathon Medal. Finishers will also receive an additional short-sleeve commemorative Technical Shirt.

First Place, male and female runners $1,000 each
Second Place, male and female runners $500 each
Third Place, male and female runners $250 each
Masters, male and female runners $250 each
Local (7 county metro area), male and female runners $250 each
Wheelchair Overall, male and female $125 each

Half Marathon:

All finishers will receive a special Half Marathon Medal.

First Place, male and female runners $500 each
Second Place, male and female runners $250 each
Third Place, male and female runners $125 each
Wheelchair Overall, male and female $125 each

Marathon Relay:

There are three relay categories including coed, male and female.

All finishers will receive a special Marathon Relay Medal.

First Place Team, in each category: $250
Second Place, in each category will receive a sponsor prize pack

5K:

Overall winner, male and female runners: $125 each

If you are an award winner and can not pick up your award that evening, your award will be mailed to the address used during registration if you are from out of town. If you are local, the award will be available to pick up at the KC Sports Commission, 1308 Pennsylvania Ave., Kansas City, MO 64105 M-F between the times of 8:30 a.m. and 5 p.m.
