My husband and I want to thank you and everyone involved with the Kansas City Marathon for a fantastic event! We had friends from southern Missouri join us who had never been in a half marathon, and they had a great time and said they were very impressed how organized everything was. They loved seeing all the beautiful sights of Kansas City. We have been in 3 half marathons elsewhere in the Midwest, but our own hometown marathon was the best yet! Thanks to all the volunteers, police, and bands that made the distance seem easy!

I just wanted to say to someone what a great time I had participating in my first marathon in Kansas City this weekend. I thought you all did a fantastic job! The support on the course was great. I really enjoyed getting to run that 20 miler a few weeks before the race that Eladio organized. It really helped to make me more comfortable on race day, and I was glad I had a chance to run the big hill around mile 9 once before the race. I definately will look forward to running this again next year!

Just wanted to say thank you for an awesome race! This was my first half-marathon, and I must say it was unbelievable. I thought that everything was very well-planned and organized. I have no idea how much time it takes to put together an event such as this, but it was evident that you spent a lot of time getting everything ready for this awesome race. All of the volunteers were so helpful and encouraging as well. Thanks for making it such a memorable experience. I would love to do it again next year.

Thank you for the excellent run on Saturday.  I completed the half-marathon.  I would highly recommend the race to others.  It was superbly organized. Thank you for all that hard work, the wonderful volunteers, the great bands, and the hospitality expressed.

Thank you for making the Kansas City Marathon such a great success. Everything this year was perfect from the great course to the wonderful volunteers to the beautiful weather. I have done the half for the past three years as a training run for other fall events but KC is turning into such a great event that next year it will be my main race in the fall. I was trying to think of a suggestion to make it even better, but couldn't think of any! Keep up the great work!

I've run over a dozen marathons and I know they are sincere when they look at you to make sure you are okay. Kudos on a well run race!!! I wish you much success on all your races!! I ran you marathon on Saturday and wanted to pass on a few comments. I have only run three other marathons, but you yours was by far the most enjoyable. Traffic was well controlled by friendly and encouraging people. The aid stations could not have been better! The volunteers were upbeat and encouraging. You chose a beautiful course, giving non-locals a great tour of Kansas City. The course was not the easiest I have run, but was not overly challenging. I plan on running several races next year, but intend to make your race one that I do every year.

This was my first time participating in this event. It was one of the most outstanding races I have run. There were volunteers in abundance, well stocked aid stations, and good entertainment and spectator support all along the way. I was very impressed.

I would like to thank the organizers of the Kansas City Marathon for
an exciting, well-run race. I ran the half-marathon course and was so
pleased with the detailed planning that I encountered. I know others
who ran the full marathon and also had positive experiences. The course was a great tour of Kansas City landmarks, and my out-of-
town running friends felt like they really saw the city. The aid stations came up so frequently. The volunteers were happy and encoura ging, and the drinks were cool and refreshing. We enjoyed the band playing at finish line festival, and the food and Boulevard beer were quite a treat after 13.1 miles. Thanks to all who made this race possible. It’s a wonderful treat to have such a well-run race right here at home.
